A New Standard in Bike Fitting
The International Bike Fitting Institute (IBFI) is an international organisation developing a global standard for the bike fitting industry.
By providing an internationally-recognised accreditation scheme, IBFI protects established, trained bike fitters while helping cyclists access the skills and services they expect.
The not-for-profit organisation is overseen by some of the world’s top bike fitters and bike fit experts, and is supported by the industry’s leading organisations and education providers.

Helping identify expertise
Bike fitting is becoming more and more popular, and as the industry grows, so too does the number of bike fitters.
Currently anyone is able to describe themselves as a bike fitter, regardless of their skills, knowledge and expertise.
This opens the industry to untrained, inexperienced individuals who could offer
improper advice, poor standards of service, and leave consumers with a bad experience of the bike fitting industry.
With so many bike fit qualifications available on the market, it is hard for consumers to compare expertise and knowledge between different fitters.
